Tasting Room Manager

Last Wave Brewing Co. is looking for a tap room manager to help run our bustling tasting room. This is a full-time, salaried position with incentives. The tap room manager will be in charge of the operation and growth of the tasting room and managing our staff of beertenders. We’re looking for a motivated, people person with a positive attitude to take care of the daily operations of our tasting room.


  • Organize and set schedule for beertenders on a monthly basis
  • Manage a staff of 3-10 people on a nightly basis, including assigning shift duties and assisting staff during peak times
  • Gathering positive and negative feedback from the staff and customers and communicating it to ownership
  • Trained in Alcohol handling procedures (TIPS certified)
  • Hiring and training new staff in accordance with Last Wave Brewing standards and practices
  • Running pre-shift meetings to ensure staff is armed with knowledge of available beers and understands duties for the day
  • Making sure pre-shift and post-shift cleaning procedures are followed
  • Keeping track of merchandise inventory and reporting to ownership
  • Weekly meeting with ownership to prepare for weekend
  • Weekly website updates
  • Event Management


  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Ability to work Wednesday – Sunday on a weekly basis
  • Must be comfortable standing on feet for up to 8 hours at a time
  • Some heavy lifting of kegs may be required
  • Good attitude and friendly personality
  • TIPS Certified
  • Reliable mode of transportation

Cellarperson (Part-Time)

Last Wave Brewing is looking for some help in the brewhouse. We’re looking for a part-time cellar person who has a flexible schedule and is willing to put in about 25-35 hours during the week, with potential weekend work possible as well. We’re looking for anyone who is interested in establishing a career in a small brewery setting and has a passion for the local scene. You will be assisting in all cellaring duties as well as helping deliver beer when necessary.


  • Cleaning kegs
  • Kegging beer
  • All cellaring processes including, but not limited to
    • Harvesting yeast
    • Dry-hopping
    • Carbonating beer
  • CIP on tanks and brewhouse
  • Cleaning brewhouse and brewery equipment
  • Cleaning & organizing storage areas
  • Assisting with packaging on canning days
  • Transferring kegs
  • Loading vans for deliveries
  • Loading grain
  • Shoveling out spent grain during brew days


  • Brewery experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs. over your head
  • Hardworking and self-motivated
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
  • Must be physically fit for manual labor
  • Must be able to move 160 lb kegs 
  • Passionate about craft beer
  • Must be able to follow all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment at all times
  • Must have reliable mode of transportation

Beertender (Part-Time)

Last Wave Brewing is looking to hire some help in the tasting room. The right candidate will have a passion for the craft beer industry and a solid understanding of different beer styles. We’re looking for friendly, engaging people who enjoy customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position is part-time and must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion with a minimum of 4 shifts a month.


  • Pouring beer  (duh)
  • Fill crowlers and growlers for to-go service
  • Assist customers in navigating our extensive beer selection
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar area and tasting room during each shift
  • Follow tasting room setup and cleanup protocol
  • Responsibly serve patrons and obey all ABC laws


  • Beertender experience preferred, but not required
  • TIPS certified preferred, but not required
  • Engaging personality
  • Must understand different craft beer styles and communicate that to patrons
  • Ability to answer questions about different beers and styles in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to move empty kegs
  • Hardworking and self-motivated
  • Must be able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time
  • Must enjoy craft beer
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment at all times
  • Reliable mode of transportation
